Go Matt go!

After the pot luck at the Jacques we visited Matt and Heidi. It was suppose to be a short visit, but we ended up going to Escondido to the Decenas home for a night of Wii game with them. It was fun to watch how everyone had so much fun playing.

Pot Luck at the Jacques

Delicious Food!
We had a great Sabbath School pot luck at the jacques' back yard in Fallbrook.

The Dawkins, the Flores and the Haytons at their table enjoying great conversations after eating. Their children were somewhere in this back yard as well. Notice the outdoor fireplace.

Oliver jacques(seating at the head of the table in the above picture is Mrs. Ellen G. White great grandson). He has some great stories from his family.

As you notice the Jacques have a beautiful back yard full of trees, plants and lots of flowers.
Mrs. Fredonia Jacques maintains this beautiful garden herself. She is also a well known painter artist of this area. Her paintings have a lot of colors just like her garden. Her work is just beautiful! She has her studio in a cottage here at the back yard. We enjoyed the tour of her studio.

Her rose garden is awesome! The roses were all big and had bright color. I LOVE HER GARDEN!

San Diego Fair, at Del Mar

We enjoyed our visit to the San Diego County Fair. We did a lot of walking and there were things to see always all around. I played my first Wii game. It was a virtual tennis game, and I won! It was fun! Of course we always enjoy seeing the animals. There was also a very good jazz ban from Indianapolis that was very good.

This Jazz band from Louisiana was very good

This is my best picture of the Pig's Rice. They are too fast for my camera's shooting lens. So they were either far away or I would miss them. Look very careful to see the pigs running.

Visiting Tia Blanca

We were glad to be able to visit Tia Blanca. She lives in Moorpark, Simi Valley area. This is our first visit with her since my Uncle Jose passed away this past December. His birthday would have been a few days before. She is adjusting to her new life without my unlcle, which is not easy. But she is looking great!

We can't wait to hear the news of the wedding day! We will miss you Paul, but at the same time, we are happy that you are going to be with Lani:-)
