Concert at the Kennedy Center

Went to a concert at the Kennedy Center

In our way to the Kennedy Center, we drove in front the historical Watergate buildings

Nice walkways by the river in this area

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is the Memorial for President Kennedy.
There are a few theaters here. Important plays and concerts that are very costly are performed here all year long. The center also is open for cultural community concerts and performance that are free.

Ceiling of one of the entrances.
The Kennedy Center was built in the 60s so it has a modern 60s style of architecture and decor.

Gordon, Nancy and David by the Kennedy head sculpture. Gordon walking one of the foyers.

Nancy and Gordon busy with the Kennedy exhibits. At the push of a bottom they show videos of different Kennedy speeches, events...etc.

Notice the lamp style through-out the building

Entering the concert performance hall.
No picture taken is permitted inside the concert halls. I took this picture just before they told me to put my camera away.
