Pageant of the Masters

Tuesday August 14 a group of us went to Laguna Beach to see this year's presentation of the Pageant of the Maters. This is an annual tourist favorite Art Festival at the town of Laguna Beach California. This festival is celebrated during the months of July and August every year. This year is kind of a special year since they are celebrating their 75th anniversary.

It took us a while to find parking since it is a very active town during this Art Festival. Above is Matt, Heidi, David and Gordon. As we walk the streets looking for a place to eat we could not help to stop and enjoy the view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean for a little while. Allan and Nova also joined us later.

Heidie and I after the show.
I was very impress with the Pageant of the Maters presentation. The presentation is of famous paintings. What makes it so unique is that live humans are in each paintings.

Betio

Our cousin Betio happened to come to San Diego in a business trip the same days Ada was visiting us. It was such a treat to have him stay with us. During the day he went to his work related meetings and since he stayed with us we got to see him in the evenings. We have not seen each other since we were children. He lives in Miami.

Today we decide to take Ada on a Orange County drive. We took the Ortega rout up the mountains to Orange County
View of Lake Elsinor and the Temecula Valley

Spend some time at Dana Point. They have great programs for school kids. Here is a sail boat leaving the harbor with a group of kids.

Us enjoying the this place and the great view

Sat at the Balboa beach for a while. The sun felt good since it was a little in the cool side. Love this brown sand. This sand is so dry and clean.

The Queen May at Long Beach

Visited the Wayfarers Chapel (Palos Verdes) in the San Pedro coast. This chapel is make out of stone base, wood frames and the walls and roof are glass. It is also has a spectacular view from the hill where it sits off to the ocean.

Taking Ada to the Wild Animal Park

My sister Ada came to visit. She has never been to the Wild Animal Park so we took her there the very first day with us.

We saw a lot of animals in the wild like setting for their habitat. Most of the animals were far away for our camera to take good pictures. Following are some of the animals we were able to see closer.

Nice peaceful waterfall at the botanical garden area

The park's air balloon went up a few times. It was fun to watch.

Native singers from Africa. The man at the far left name was Surita. Pretty close to my name Zulita:-) He did not speak any English but his friend did.

Adios TAGnet

Gordon's last day at TAGnet(Three Angels Global Networking) has come. He took a new job and gave his four week notice. He had four weeks to finish things up as much as he could, train Craig, Mike and Paul and say his goodbyes to the staff in India.

Gordon's Journey with TAGnet has been of 12 years. Sean Carney, Gary Regan, David Burry and Gordon formed the core of TAGnet's team for much of TAGnet's history. Gordon is the last of the original team to go.

TAGnet
has been serving the Adventist community with online services for 12 years. Pray to God that TAGnet will continue serving the Adventist community with online services for many more years.
