Walking the Roof of the kennedy Center

After the concert we went up to the roof of the kennedy Center.
It was a surprised of how much of a view there is from up there. We were able to see a very far distance. It was a gorgeous view!
We stayed here until dark.

View of the Arlington Commentary across the river at the distance

Nancy, David and Gordon and the Lincoln Memorial to the left.
They were so busy walking and talking that they were missing theview of the Lincoln Memorial

Zulita and the Takoma River and Georgetown. The two tall picks at the top of the hill at the distance are in the campus of the prestigious Georgetown University. John Kennedy Jr. graduated from this university.

Notice the tall pick to the left, a landmark of the Georgetown University campus

Enjoy watching the tourist boats navigate the river the Takoma River

The famous cathedral

It's nice up here. It does not seemed like a tall building, but being up here it sure seeded tall enough to have a great view of many landmarks of the D.C. area.

A goverment helicopter few by us

Zulita and Nancy talking and contemplating things out in the distance

We watched the most amazing sunset!

Since there was a lot of moisture in the atmosphere...

It lasted about 45 minutes because it had a long twilight

We watch it for a long time. Beautiful!
