Had lunch at one of or favorite restaurants, Las Casuelas Nuevas at Rancho Mirage

Had fun hiking the mountains near our resort. It was overcast the whole time but rain never came down

A Walk at a Beautiful Desert Park

We went for a walk to a park near our Miramote Resort and Spa. It was landscaped with the most beautiful desert trees, plants, flowers, rocks and waterfalls.

Zulita loved the flowers and plants and trees that grow here in the desert. She wants flowers, plants and trees like this for her garden at home.

Our Miramonte Resort and Spa Water Fun!

The Miramonte Resort and Spa has 3 pools and 3 jacuzzi. We enjoyed 4 of them during the two and a half days we were there.

The first water activity we did was to enjoy one of the jacuzzi Friday night
We went to the jacuzzi that was closer to our room. They close the pools and Jacuzzi at 11:00 so we went for a while before we went to be.

The first morning we got up and went to the Well Spa and did the Hydro Yo Chi class at the salt pool of the spa. It was great, we really enjoyed it. We were the only ones from California in the Class every one else was from out of state and Canada. Sorry, no pictures of the Hydro class. We were too busy enjoying the class to take pictures.

Above is a picture of Gordon relaxing at the salt water pool after the class ended. The combination between those flow-dis and the salt water is easy to flow in this pool keeping good balance. Very relaxing!!!

We've never been to a salt water jacuzzi before. It was so good to be here, very relaxing.

The second day we decided to start the day with a morning deep in the hot jacuzzi.
At first, the water is too hot

Then it gets better

The weather prediction was rain, but it did not rain at all the whole weekend . It did sprinkle a little when we were hereat the jacuzzi

The water was just perfect. It actually feels very good to be in hot water in a cool morning like this.


Gordon enjoyed our room private patio after our water relaxation activities each morning, and....


enjoyed a great mango feast at our hotel room each morning before we went out on walks and hikes at places near our resort.

Miramonte Resort and Spa

Gordon had free nights at a resort, so we took a weekend and went to the Miramonte Resort and Spa at Indian Wells. It was our first resort experience and we enjoyed it. It was a beautiful environment made for quite time and relaxation, and that is what we did:-)

Our room had a small patio.....very quit..... we loved it.

Hammocks like this were everywhere for anyone that wanted to use them. Very relaxing.

Enjoying one of the outdoor beds. So relaxing, the sky was clear so laying there we can see the stars. It was cool so had to wear a sweater.
