A beautiful Dish Garden sits on our kitchen window. This was a gift from Nancy L. and her husband. I am surely enjoying it. Gordon has not see it yet because he is at his mother's house for a month now. Thank you Nancy:-)

Archery

We started the day with a whole school worship right at 8:00 am. Mr. West presented a great worship to start the day. Then he gave them a good training and got them excited about learning the skill of archery.
My class went first in getting the training. Our class was from 8:30-10:00 am.
We had a great time leaning about archery and having chances to practice.
The older graders went back to their classroom and did their training later in the day.

Dad Harty unexpectedly passed away Wednesday October 29. We are all very sadden by his death. We are missing him so much. Thank you for your prayers. There are a lot of adjustments for Mom Harty now. Pray for her so she can have the support she needs from the people in her life and our heavenly father. Dad Harty was a great man and he is surely missed.

The pastor Joe Cirigliano doing the Bible Workers Boot Camp training. He is very good and energetic.
Gordon had fun catching up with his
boss back when he workded many summers
at Leani Medows (Northern California Conference camp). He worked at Leani Madows during his high schools days
After the meetings for the day were over we took a little ride
at around the city and visited the musical street. As your
drive there is a song that the road plays for you. Play the video
above and listen very careful and see if you can hear the song.

New Visitors to Our Backyard Garden

We like them better that the butterflies that visited our garden in previous years because they are not laying eggs. We loved the colorful butterflies, but anytime they visited weeks later we had an infestation of caterpillars eating our plants leaves and keeling them slowly. It was a work of a few weeks of watching our garden carefully to get the caterpillars of the garden.

Continental Divide

The Continental Divide is a natural boundary line separating waters that flow into the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico from those that flow into the Pacific Ocean.
The sign reads: The "Great Divide" separates drainage to the Atlantic from drainage to the Pacific. It traverses America from Alaska almost to Cape Horn.
Atlantic Ocean Drainage. Cache La Poudre Creek drains into the Platte River, which flows to the Missiouri, then to the Mississippi, thus reaching the Gulf of Mexico (part of the Atlantic Ocean).
Pacific Ocean Drainage. Beaver Creek drains into the Colorado River which then flows through Grand Canyon National Park and on to the Gulf of California (a part of the Pacific Ocean).
Gordon standing on both sides of the continent. The picture does not show it but there is a line on the ground between Gordon's legs. His left foot is on the Pacific and his right foot on the Atlantic

Happy Wedding Anniversary To Us!!!!

We loved it there.
We stayed at a cottage at Estes Park (the town by the main entrances of this national park) and had access to the park easily. With our 7 days entrance pass we came in and out as we pleased. Following are some of the pictures of our first day there, July 15th, our wedding anniversary day:-)
This first day we did scenic drives. The views were spectacular! Very majestic! Somehow the mountains look smaller in the pictures. The pictures do not capture the distance,deepness/contrast of this place. The mountains canyons and valleys are huge when you are there in real life. To me, this was a very spiritual place.
As we drove, we stopped at different view points. We could not help but to do many of the short hikes up to the different view points.
Can't believe we found Patsy, Joanna and family at 12,000 feet!
