Congratulations Gordon! The award is a well deserved and long overdue recognition of how much you and Sean contributed to online ministry. Many many ministries and churches would not have been able to afford an online presence or had the online exposure they had (especially 'back in the day') without TAGnet.
Many who benefited from TAGnet may not realize how much professional and personal sacrifice developing and especially sustaining/growing TAGnet required from you! For example, you gave up a high paying career in Silicon Valley during the tech boom to make TAGnet happen, and for a long time you made yourself available 24 hours a day to keep the servers online when there was no one else at TAGnet with the technical skill to help you with that. You and Sean had to run a professional level ISP/portal with little to no budget, and on top of that deal with various political hot potatoes that came along with hosting a random and diverse gaggle of ministries.
Thank you for all that you've put into TAGnet and online ministry in general, and congratulations again on the award!

Great to see you guys properly recognized for the sacrifices and pioneering spirit that led to the formation and longevity of TAGnet. Well deserved! It was a priviledge to work for/with you for part of the time while you were in Silicon Valley.
