Driving the Back Roads of Temecula

Took advantage of a January Sunday that was not raining and decided to just cruse on the hills/mountains behind Temecula. We came upon this lake and a dam.

Can't remember the name of the lake and dam. It was a private lake so we were not able to go down and get closer to the water.

We did explored the dam some. It felt high up there on the dam.
Can't remember the name of the lake since I did not write it down.
Not sure how we got here. Wondering if we can find it again.

The back roads behind Temecula is not a flat area. They are full of hills, mountains, canyons, and paths everywhere we looked.

Me next to our faithful car

We came to lot's of little towns.
The town of Julian was our favorite. This is Julian's main street.

We walked the streets of Julian a little since it was very cold and they were waiting for snow to fall soon. We decided to leave before the snow since our car did not have chains for driving on snow.
