Traveled the very curvy road up to Mount Tamalpais. Mount Tamalpais is just north of San Francisco Golden Gate. It has redwood groves and oak woodlands with a spectacular view from 2,571 foot peak.
Gordon and I met when we were both living in the San Francisco Bay Area. We came here when we were dating. This place has special memories for us.

Top of Mount Tamalpais. We did not do the hike to the very top because we had to pay.

Ana, Zulita and Ada and the view of the San Francisco Bay Area below.
It was very windy up there.

View of the mountains on one side

View of the San Francisco Bay Area on the other side.
Half of the view of the city was cover with fog and the other was clear.

Could see the towns of Sautalito and Tiburon down below

Sausalito

Could not see the city of San Francisco, it was covered by fog.

Ana, Carlos and Zulita enjoying the view
